Principal and Vice Chancellor of Edinburgh Napier University, Dame Joan Stringer DBE, is recognised in both education and business circles as an individual of exceptional talent and drive. The energy and commitment she has demonstrated throughout her influential career has benefited numerous external bodies she has been involved in, such as the Secretary of State’s Consultative Steering Group on the Scottish Parliament and Northern Ireland Equality Commission Working Group, of which Dame Joan is chairwomen.
