Behind the Scenes with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo – Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce
Join us on Thursday 30th July for an exclusive business networking morning with The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, just ahead of the 2026 show opening on the 6th August.
Following a sell-out event with the Tattoo last year, this return offers a new perspective on one of the world’s most iconic productions.
Guests will be welcomed into Cannonball House, located at the gates of Edinburgh Castle and just steps from the Esplanade, where final preparations are underway. Over breakfast and refreshments, there will be time to connect informally while taking in the atmosphere as the show comes together.
A highlight of the morning will be behind-the-scenes access to areas not normally open to the public.
This includes a first look inside the newly refurbished Royal Gallery, the Tattoo’s flagship VIP space, along with access to the production gallery where the show is managed in real time, and parts of the arena that audiences do not usually see.
In previous years, attendees have heard from the Tattoo’s CEO and experienced the show itself. This year offers something slightly different, with a chance to see the scale and detail of the build before opening night.
The 2026 production, A Call to Gather, sets the stage for another memorable celebration of performance, storytelling and international collaboration.
Tickets are limited and expected to sell out quickly following last year’s demand, so early booking is recommended.
