As part of #TogetherForBusiness Academy Dunbartonshire Chamber has joined forces with BDS to help businesses prepare for Public Sector Tendering (selling to the public sector). Last year the procurement spend of Scottish public bodies was £14.2 billion. 63% of opportunities were won by Scottish SMEs. The public sector ranges from central government departments to local councils to housing associations to other publicly funded bodies who need to buy a range of goods and services. Whether you’ve never considered selling to the public sector as an option, considered it ‘too hard’ or your business too small this workshop is for you.
This interactive workshop will be led by our Chamber Expert Shiona Campbell of BDS. Shiona will help businesses find out the first steps they need to take, along with practical actions to help them prepare with a view to entering into (or performing better in) this lucrative market.
This is an interactive session where there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and see practical demonstrations.
