Currently there is no unified health-led policy framework in place to proactively address the impact of mould within housing.
The Scottish Mould Awareness & Action Seminar that was held on 23rd June at Dumbarton Football Club marked the beginning of a coordinated, cross-sector approach to tackling one of the most pressing housing and public health challenges of our time.
Attendees contributed to the foundation of a national response and helped to shape the future of housing, health, and tenant wellbeing in Scotland.
Now… We are continuing this conversation in this round table event…
Bringing together local government, housing associations, and key industry leaders together to create a proactive approach to mould within the Scottish Housing Sector..
Our aim is to move beyond discussion into action – this will shape a proactive, Scotland-led approach to prevention, policy alignment, and long-term solutions. A model that has the potential to lead globally.
