Trade Mission to Stockholm, Sweden – Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce

7 to 11 March 2027

Scottish Borders Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) is inviting Scottish businesses to apply for its trade mission to Stockholm. Led by SBCC and delivered on behalf of the Scottish Chambers of Commerce and the Scottish Government through the International Trade Partnership, the mission will help businesses explore the Swedish market and build international connections.

Sweden is a well-connected market with strengths in innovation and digital development. SBCC is working with local strategic partners and building on connections with organisations and business networks in Stockholm and Sweden to help shape the programme and arrange relevant introductions.

The programme is expected to include market briefings, expert sessions on market entry, tailored B2B meetings, networking and visits to relevant organisations and businesses. Preparation and follow-up support will also be provided. Activities will be tailored to the participating businesses.

The mission may be of particular interest to businesses in:

· Food and drink

· Technology

· Professional services

· Retail

· Life sciences

· Creative industries

Businesses from other sectors with an interest in the Swedish market are also welcome to apply.

Costs

Successful applicants will be invoiced for a non-refundable mission fee of £450 + VAT, covering preparation, training and support, market preparation, introductions, planned business events and post-mission follow-up.

Delegates are responsible for their own flights, accommodation and other associated travel expenses, estimated at around £600 per delegate. Some meals, local travel and incidental expenses may not be included. SBCC will share suggested travel and hotel arrangements and clarify which costs are covered.
