SCC reaction to Cabinet Appointments

“I’d like to congratulate John Swinney on being sworn in as First Minister, and his Cabinet, who have been appointed this afternoon. The decisions they take will have a direct impact on business confidence and investment across Scotland.

“Our Plan for Growth sets out where action is needed: bringing down upfront business costs, delivering infrastructure investment, and preparing the workforce for the future. Progress in each of these areas will be critical to strengthening Scotland’s competitiveness and supporting economic growth.”
